[2018] M A R C H

I’m having a hard time believing that a quarter of the year is already over! Time is going by so fast! I realize that I have yet to share about how plans have changed and my story is being rewritten and I apologize for that! Hopefully I will get around to that this month. For now an life “fly over” will have to be good for now!

ACCOMPLISHED>> I incorporated some new techniques and teaching methods with my violin students. It’s been wonderful seeing how they’ve been paying off.

TRIED>> Lesson Planning for my violin lessons. I should have tried this way earlier. Sitting down and actually planning out what I’m going to focus on it for each student makes it so much better and more applicable for them!

READ>> Grace For Godly Living by Paul Chappel. This was an awesome look at what grace and what it isn’t. So many people nowadays are talking about “new grace” so this book was really clear about what grace actually is.

LOVED>> Family time. First, my nephew was (finally) born this month, so lots of baby holding and loving. Second, my brother came home from college on spring break and we got to spend some quality time together. So enjoyable.

GONE>> I was still at the conference in Wisconsin at the beginning of the month. It was such a wonderful time and such a learning experience. I also was able to spend a few nights with my sister helping her out with things around the house as she adjusts to life with a newborn.

LEARNED>> Prayer. I don’t at all think that I’ve learned it completely, but my prayer life has completely been transformed after hearing messages and seeing it explained to me. I’ve definitely learned about prayer and I’ve even see some big requests answered already!

PLANNED>> Dates for a trip to MO to visit my sister and her little family. I am SO excited. I can’t wait to see them all! Hurry up, May!

THRIFTED>> I haven’t thrifted much this month. I think the only thing I thrifted was a floral skirt for Easter Sunday.

CREATED>> I’m working on a little project for two certain people, but it’s a surprise, so I can’t share about it just yet.

PHOTOGRAPHED>> This month I took newborn pictures of my newest nephew, who at the time was just five days old. I LOVE to take pictures of newborns- ESPECIALLY newborn nephew/nieces :) I’m hoping to get a maternity shoot and this newborn shoot up on my blog this month for you all to see!

LOOKING AHEAD>> April
+ book a ticket to MO
+ put up a few posts here and on my photography site
+ work on putting together a Titus 2 correspondence course
+ schedule some spring photoshoots

+ get my one violin student playing in church!

  1. You should share what you've learned about prayer. I'd love to learn more about it!
