One brisk summer evening,at a teen camp,God brought revival to the hearts of young people who had brought a candle to the preaching of the Word of God.The speaker had preached on the topic entitled "The Sin of Apathy."God worked in the hearts of these young people resulting in decisions and commitments made for Him.After the preaching, they all gathered round a campfire, where they shared tearful testimonies of how God worked in their hearts. They wept as they sang through the songs about their God and they stood beside one another-encouraging each other and letting them all know that they are there for each other. This is one brisk summer night in the year 2013,that some teens will never forget!

Camp 2013
Well I just got back last Friday from an amazing week of camp.I could sit here and write a novel about all the games and activities that we had,but I'm not going to do that.
It wasn't the team competition, the games ,the time hanging out with friends, the craziness of camp, the food,or the silly stuff that went on at camp that changed my life and meant the most to me.I will tell you what really hit home for me.It was the preaching and the working of the Holy Spirit.God did a work in my life and in many others this week. The best night was on Thursday. After an amazing message by Brother Jerry Ross on "The Sin of Apathy" God worked in many hearts. After the invitation we all went up around the campfire and sang and gave testimony of what God did in our hearts.Wow what an amazing time.I can't even begin to explain what it was like.I know for my youth group it was one amazing, emotional moment. We girls would move from one girl out of the youth group to the next crying and hugging each other. The guys were crying but they weren't all going around hugging each other. We would give a couple testimonies and then sing (or try to....I think most of us just stood there crying during the songs!)This went on for awhile. At the end we all just wanted to stay and share more testimonies.Amazing what God does when we simply open up and give Him control of our life.He will change your life drastically. He did to me this week and to many others!
