Whiter Than Snow...

1.Lord Jesus,I long to be perfectly whole;
I want thee forever to live in my soul,
Break down ev'ry idol,
cast out every foe;

Now wash me,
and I shall be whiter than snow.
Whiter than snow ,yes,
whiter than snow;
Now wash me,
and I shall be whiter than snow.
2.Lord Jesus,look down from Thy throne in the skies,
And help me to make a complete sacrifice;
 I give up myself,
         and whatever I know,

Now wash me,
and I shall be whiter than snow.
Whiter than snow ,yes,
whiter than snow;
Now wash me,
and I shall be whiter than snow.
3.Lord Jesus,for this I most humbly entreat,
I wait,blessed Lord,at Thy crucified feet;
By faith,for my cleansing,
I see Thy blood flow,
Now wash me,
and I shall be whiter than snow.
Whiter than snow ,yes,
whiter than snow;
Now wash me,
and I shall be whiter than snow.
4.Lord Jesus,Thou seest I patiently wait,
Come now,and within me a new heart create;

To those who have sought thee,
Thou never saidst "No,"
Now wash me,
and I shall be whiter than snow.
Whiter than snow ,yes,
whiter than snow;
Now wash me,
and I shall be whiter than snow.

Family

"Family is for growing up in,
going away from,
and for coming back to.
It is for love and concern,
for helping each one of us,
through the happy times,
and the sad ones."
~Grandpa Walton (The Walton's season 5)

O Come All Ye Faithful

O come, all ye faithful
Joyful and triumphant
O come ye, o come ye to Bethlehem
Come and behold him
Born the king of angels
O come let us adore Him
O come let us adore Him
O come let us adore Him
Christ the Lord

Sing choirs of angels
Sing in exaltation
Oh sing all ye rivals
Of heaven above
Glory to God, Glory in the highest
O come let us adore Him
O come let us adore Him
O come let us adore Him
Christ the Lord

Merry Christmas!!!

  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. -Isaiah 9:6
  And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.   And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.  For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. -Luke 2:9-11

What Child is This

What Child is This

What child is this who laid to rest
On Mary's lap is sleeping
Whom angels greet with anthems sweet
While shepherds watch are keeping

(Chorus:)
This this is Christ the King
Whom shepherds guard and angels sing
Haste haste to bring Him land
The babe the son of Mary

Why lies He in such mean estate
Where ox and cattle are feeding
God christian fear for sinners here
The silent world is pleading

(Chorus)

So bring Him incense gold and myrrh
Come peasant king to own Him
The King of Kings salvation brings
Let loving hearts enthrone Him

Silent Night

 silent night
Silent night! Holy night!
All is calm, All is bright;
Round yon Virgin mother and child,
Holy infant so tender and mild,
Sleep in heavenly peace,
Sleep in heavenly peace.

Silent night! Holy night!
Shepherds quake at the sight;
Glories stream from heaven afar,
Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia;
Christ, the Saviour, is born,
Christ, the Saviour, is born.

Silent night! Holy night!
Son of God, love's pure light
Radiant beams from thy holy face,
With the dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus, Lord, at thy birth,
Jesus, Lord, at thy birth.

Joy to the World

christmas

Joy to the world! The Lord is come:
Let earth receive her King.
Let ev'ry heart prepare Him room,
And heaven and nature sing,
And heaven and nature sing,
And heaven and heaven and nature sing.

Joy to the world, the Savior reigns!
Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy.

No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found,
Far as the curse is found,
Far as, far as, the curse is found.

He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness
And wonders of His love,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders, wonders of His love.

O Holy Night

source

O holy night, the stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear Saviour's birth
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
'Til He appeared and the soul felt its worth
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks, a new and glorious morn
Fall on your knees, oh hear the angel voices
O night divine
O night when Christ was born
O night, O holy night, O night divine

Led by the light of faith serenely beaming
With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand
So led by light of a star sweetly gleaming
Here came the wise men from Orient land
The King of Kings, lay thus in lowly manger
In all our trials born to be our friend
He knows our need, our weakness is no stranger
Behold, your king
Before Him lowly bend
Behold, your king before Him lowly bend

Truly He taught us to love one another
His law is love, and His gospel is peace
Chains shall He break for the slave is our brother
And in His name all oppression shall cease
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we
Let all within us praise His holy name
Christ is the Lord, O praise His name forever
His power and glory ever more proclaim

"The rest of your life will be the best of your life if you live it for God."
Tony Bazen,Sword of the Lord

    "For since the beginning of the world men have not heard,nor perceived by the ear,neither hath the eye seen,O God,beside thee,what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him."~Isaiah 64:4

    Waiting on the Lord,as referenced in this passage from Isaiah that my mom always quoted,doesn't mean being complacent.It means understanding He has a time and a plan,and that we're not the ones in control.In the meantime,however,we need to strive to use our gifts and abilities fully and to the best of our ability for whatever He does have in store for us,whenever the time comes.I was beginning to see more clearly that God always has His hand on us-preparing us for His purposes.

    And as I began to see that as not only as a great blessing and promise,but a great responsibility.

   Through My Eyes
by Tim Tebow with Nathan Whitaker
-Chapter 4,pages 34-35
"Oh! if English Christians only knew the need and the longing willingness of these dear souls to hear the glad tidings, and the joy, the unspeakable joy of a missionary's life, they would surely cry from the depths of yearning hearts, "Lord, here am I, send me, send me."
