Oh that we would all have the faith of Abraham!Abraham prepared to sacrifice his son,but believed that God would provide a lamb.I wish I had the faith to just step out believing that God will provide,no matter what the need!
And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said,My father:and he said ,Here am I ,my son.And he said,Behold the fire and the wood:but where is the lamb for the burnt offering? And Abraham said,My son,God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering,so they went both of them together.~Genesis 22:7&8

I've been blessed...
I went outside last night after dark and I was just sitting there on the hood of the Jeep, looking up at the stars, very quietly singing to myself. After awhile I went inside and told Liv she should come outside and look at the stars with me,we looked at the stars and sang for awhile and then we kinda just sat there talking about our life.
You never realize what you have until you step back and look at all the things God has done for you.
I wouldn't trade my life for anything, sure there have been times when I wish we had more "stuff" but in all reality I'm glad we didn't.We were talking about how blessed we are,I mean how many people have grown up like we did?How many people got to go on vacation to all the places that we have?I have been to all but 11 states. How many people have had the opportunity to just drop their life in PA and move to CO and then back to PA and then back to CO and then back to PA?How many people get to go on missions trips? or how many people get to be so involved in their church and all it's ministries?the list could go on and on.
We sat there and tried to think of something terrible that has ever happened in our life and we couldn't think of one, nope not one!Sure sometimes we were unsatisfied, but now we look back and we are like this was all part of God's plan, what would life have been like if God wouldn't have done that?If God would have given us everything perfect without ever putting things in our path that we weren't thankful for imagine all the lessons that we wouldn't have learned.I like to just sit and look at my life,of all the things that I have ever gone through no matter how much I disliked it at the time,I'm glad God put it in my life...because now I look at it and I don't look at it as an awful time,I look at it now and I think of all the lessons learned and great memories made with family and friends along the way!
Yes folks,I'm blessed beyond words.
This morning I woke up and as I was reading my Bible I came across this verse, not by coincidence but because that's how good God:
Psalm 103:2-Bless the Lord,O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
"God is good all the time!" ~Bro. Jack Jarvis
"Our God is a good God,who does good things!"~Bro. Jack Jarvis

Mexico Missions Trip 2012
Wow,what a week!It went by way to fast, but I learned allot! It was amazing just to be able to see God work.I could show you millions of pictures and tell you millions of stories but you won't be able to fully understand until you go!I learned allot about prayer this week-I learned that everything you do,you should pray about.I also learned that when you ask God for something, expect an answer from Him!I learned allot about gratefulness-These people have hardly anything, yet they are happy.I learned allot about witnessing. This is where God dealt with me the most probably. The one night I was on visitation with one of the men from the church, whose name was Carlos. He made us speak to the people and invite them out,we didn't have choice in the matter...he would go up to the door tell the people that we were working on our Spanish and then he would hand it off to us!When we were walking back, after we had finished our street,it was time to start;so us American's were like "well we better go back,it's time to start" and he ( Carlos) was like "hey look there's a side street, and it doesn't look like anyone's gotten it yet, let's go do it!"They aren't worried about the time, they just want everyone to have what they have,Salvation;and they are eager about sharing it!I loved the service on Sunday night. When the Mexican people sing you can tell they really mean it.We were all crammed in the small church building Sunday night, and there was some people that had to stand, but they didn't let that effect the service. It was a great all in all experience and I can't wait for next year!I will post videos some other time!
(sorry that these aren't in the order of how they took place!)

On a journey....
Well folks,I am headed on journey.I am going on a week long missions trip with my family and church to work with BPS.I am really excited to see what the Lord will do!
This will be my first missions trip out of the country, first time out of the country matter-of-fact,not my first missions trip though. We will be working with BPS,handing out John and Romans, putting Bibles together, holding meetings, inviting people to meetings in the park, and probably many other things.I have never heard any one that has gone on this trip say they didn't like it,and most people that go recommend it to everyone.I am not nervous at all, some people say 'Do you know how dangerous MEXICO is?' and this is why I have such great comfort:
"1Fear not:for I have redeemed thee,I have called thee by thy name;thou art mine.2When thou passest through the waters,I will be with thee;and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee:when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned up;neither shall the flame kindle be upon thee.3For I am the Lord thy God,the Holy One of Israel, thy Savior:I gave Egypt for thy ransom,Ethiopia and Seba for thee.4Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honorable, and I have loved thee:therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.5Fear not:for I am with thee:"
~Isaiah 43:1b-5a
"10Fear thou not;for I am with thee:Be not dismayed;for I am thy God:I will strengthen thee;yea,I will help thee:yea,I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
~Isaiah 41:10
"8And the Lord,he it is that doth go before thee;he will be with thee,he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee:fear not neither be dismayed."
~Deuteronomy 31:8
"9Have I not commanded thee?Be strong and of a good courage;be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed;for the Lord thy God is with thee withersoever thou goest."
~Joshua 1:9

Safety Report on Juarez, Mexico
What we did on this trip was good for the city. When anyone takes to Word of God to any city, it is good for the city. God wanted us there. We were where He wanted us to be, doing what He wanted us to do. We took His Word, that He wrote, to His lost, whom He loves. He died for the people of Mexico and Juarez, of course He loves them! The solution to the problems in Mexico is exactly what we did – we took the Word of God to the lost! Sin and violence will not stop until the Lord comes and stops it, but we can make all the difference in the world to the people in the middle of it! Last year we had a special week we called the Juarez Project. On that week 100 men from the U.S. and Mexico put into the hands of 230,000 people in the city of Juarez the Word of God. We did this because we knew that the only solution to this embattled city was God’s Word. That week and for 4 weeks following, the violence in that city dropped to almost nothing. Since that time, and until now, the violence in Juarez has dropped 38%! That folks, occurred because we didn’t give up on that city – like the rest of the world has. God loves all the lost! And He wants us to try and reach all of them! Taking the Word of God into that city is what makes a difference. Do you want to be used by God and see Him change a city? Be there.
Some people may ask why are you so happy and excited to go on a missions trip? And here's why:
"79To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death,to guide our feet into the way of peace."
~Luke 1:79
"14How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed?and how shall they believe in whom they have not heard?and how shall they hear without a preacher?15And how shall they preach, except they be sent?as it is written,HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THEM THAT PREACH THE GOSPEL OF PEACE,AND BRING GLAD TIDINGS OF GOOD THINGS!"
~Romans 10:14+15
"8Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying,Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?Then said I,Here am I;send me.9And he said,Go,and tell this people"
~Isaiah 6:8+9a
So finally to close,I will end with this verse:
"1Finally,brethern,pray for us,that the word of the Lord may have free course ,and be glorified, even as it is with you."
~2 Thessalonians 3:1
