{Sibling Photoshoot}

Here are some of my favorites from the pictures we took last week when the girls were in. Enjoy!!

{CrAZy Week}

This past week was definitely crazy.

It was the week we were moving...

so we decided to bring the rest of our professional moving team in to help.
{My two dear sisters}

They both got in on Tuesday night. Anna picked Olivia up at the airport on the way up.

Since they were home for a week we tried to get as much done as possible.

|sorry the pictures are kinda random|

My sisters and I stayed up talking til about 2:30 am.

grandma's house

grandma told each one of us to take an old apron...

...but we had to try them on first :)
Wednesday we went to a thrift store and then went visiting with family. We headed home in the afternoon and then headed to church that evening.

pics from our photoshoot...more later
Thursday we did some final packing, ran some errands, had a photo shoot, and loaded up.
Anna and I rode behind the truck and trailer to make sure all was going well.

Friday was moving day. We unloaded and unpacked most of the day. Then my sisters and I headed to check out some of the shops in town. That evening we kinda relaxed. My brother and I went to teen night, Olivia went to her in laws, and the rest of them stayed at home. We all gathered back at the house late Friday night and spend our last evening together.

We had a blessing--well it was a blessing to me at least. Anna was having car problems so it delayed her departure until Saturday afternoon, giving us time to run to one more thrift store all together.

Saturday afternoon Anna headed home and we took Olivia to the airport.

What a week full of tears, laughter, hellos, goodbyes, memories, and good times. It's never enough time together, but I'm thankful for the time we had together. The first time in almost a year since the 6 of us were all together. Next time the brother-in-laws will have to come and join in on the craziness!!

{New Violin}

I recently purchased a "new" violin...

I only call it new because it's new to me.

It's actually from the 1900's...

if you ask my one friend

they will tell you very confidently,

it is from

{1908}

Whether that true or not,

I'm not sure.

It was made in France some time ago.

As you can tell from the old coffin case,

it is indeed old.

I bought it off ebay

and the person sent me the wrong violin at first.

Finally after I contacted them,

they let me know that they had sent the wrong one and would pay for me to ship it back and send me the right one.

True to their word, they did just as they said.

I have taken my other violin on many adventures,

 and played for various things...

I'm excited to see where I will get to play my new violin!!

{Life Quest} excerpts

I read Life Quest

by {Cary Schmidt}

a few weeks ago.

Like every other one of his books,

this one was excellent.

I will leave you with a few excerpts...

  Don't let your desires become your folly. Let God be King of your dreams,and watch over the next twenty years how He blows you away in fulfilling them.
-Page 60

  God uses one word to describe everything from minor distractions to major moral offenses. He calls it folly. Whether you're robbing banks, selling drugs, sleeping around, or just spending too much time in front of the tv, God puts it in the same category when it comes to life's purpose-it's all folly. It's silly. It's a waste of moments. It the useless spending of life that diverts you from the purpose of which you were created.
-Pg. 53

  The snake that's after you doesn't really care what your version of folly is. He just wants you distracted long enough to strike-long enough to destroy. Mark it down,folly is whatever take your eyes off the trail of God's will and distracts you long enough to divert you.
-Pg. 57

  Don't commit to your desires. Don't follow your dreams. Follow God. His dreams are better, you just don't know it yet! Commit to Christ. Let your dreams die in the altar of God's amazing plan. Let desires get in line behind God's will. Become fanatical. Fixate on God's will. Let your heart be gripped irreversibly by an obsession to fulfill His unique plan.
-Pgs. 190-191

{New Chapters}

Things have kinda been changing here in life.

Things are starting...

things are ending...

there's been so much going on.

I decided to wait a little to post about anything to make sure things were certain.

My family and I are in the process of moving about 50 minutes away from where we live now. We should be completely moved by 18th or 19th of this month. I'm excited... this will be my around my 12th move...the first time in about 7 years. I'd say it's about time to move :)

My family is also continuing on with plans for Finish Ministries and is working with our church about that. Hopefully we will be going out and working on projects in the near future.

As of next Friday I will no longer be working at Chick-Fil-A. My boss is all for me coming back, so I am considering working one long day a week. With moving it would be too far of a drive to work every day.

I'm trying to work on school, but it's been kinda crazy around here. School is also a new chapter since my first day of school this year, was also my last.

My violin student is doing so well. She just started her second book and she is getting ready to play in church for the first time with a group I got together. As a teacher I am super proud of her! I think she's learned that it's not really about talent, but about hard work!

I think that about covers that main stuff... there are other chapters too, but not as big!

God is so great... I'm thankful I don't have to go through all this alone... He's been leading all the way!

(Psa 32:8)  I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
