Hello there! I'm Erin Rae, the author behind this blog and the photographer behind these pictures. I'm so glad you decided to stop by! 

Welcome to || The Blessed Adventurer || 

This blog is just a glimpse of what goes on in my life. Like the title of the blog states I am extremely blessed beyond all measure and I also am an adventurer- whether it be thousands of miles away or right in the town I live in. 

I'm guessing you want to know more about me, thus the reason you came to the about me page. So here goes...

I love life. I think it is such a beautiful thing. A gift. More than I just love life, I love the {abundant} life I have. I have abundant life because of Jesus through His blood, giving me salvation .

A normal week {if I can actually claim to have one of those} for me consists of a variety of things. 

I live at home with my parents and brother. Together we do life... and it's always crazy.

I am a Christian. A baptist. Each day is a new day for me to grow to become more like my King and a new opportunity to learn more about Him.

 I am blessed to go to a church that I can be actively involved in. I serve in a variety of different ministries from kids to music. I love children and have so much delight being around them. Music is a huge part of my life, I love to play violin and love to sing even more than that.

 I teach violin and find so much joy helping someone finding a new avenue to glorify God. 

I am a photographer. I am always finding something to take pictures of. I am slowly working on starting an actual business and am so thrilled with all the ways I can capture God's [marvelous works].

I am working on becoming a homemaker and virtuous woman. I am no where near the greats, but it's a work in progress. Cooking, cleaning, organizing, and etc. are so much fun to me.

I am a blogger *surprise* and enjoy working on my writing skills- among other techy skills on here.

I am on an adventure. Following God is like one great adventure. He's

 already got everything mapped out and knows just what is around the corner. All I have to do is follow Him...but it's a daily, moment by moment decision. My responsibility on this adventure is to give Him all the glory.

This blog is a lot of fun to me. It's one of my creative outlets...and something is always changing around here! Upon reading just a few things on my blog you will gather some things about me... 1. I take a lot of pictures 2. I absolutely love simple things 3. I love adventure... out of all though, I hope you see One main thing, that is the most important thing to me. That is that I love Jesus and I am ever-so-grateful for Him...because without Him I wouldn't have these adventures, and more importantly this life. My life is a song about God and what He can do in a wretched, ugly, human heart. 

So pull up a chair, grab something to drink, and stay awhile... view all the hundreds of pictures I take, hear about all the simple things I stand in amazement at and joy over, but most importantly listen and see how the Potter is constantly molding this unworthy lump of clay.
