I'm going to this a little different today,I'm just going to put a list of things out the chapter that the story is in!
THE VIRTUOUS WOMAN-Proverbs chapter 31
~She will do good to her husband and not evil-vs. 12
~She worketh willingly-vs. 13
~She bringeth food from afar-vs. 14
~She riseth & feeds her household and maidens-vs. 15
~She buys a field and plants vineyards-vs. 16
~She strengthens herself-vs. 17
~She perceiveth that her merchandise is good-vs. 18
~She layeth her hands to the spindle-vs. 19
~She reacheth out to the poor and needy-vs. 20
~She is not afraid of the snow for her household is clothed-vs. 21
~She maketh herself coverings-vs. 22
~She maketh fine linen,sells it and delivers it-vs. 24
~She is clothed with strength and honour-vs. 25
~She openeth her mouth with wisdom,her tongue is the law of kindness-vs. 26

Women of the Bible Wednesday
Vashti-Esther chapters 1-3
Definition-"Beautiful Woman"
Vashti was a queen married to King Ahasuerus(Xerxes).He was king over land from India to Ethiopia.The King held an 187 day feast(180-for the people,7-for the servants)along with the feast came drinking,the King became drunk and then got the idea that he would show off his wife,his wife didn't like the idea very much and decided that she wouldn't go.Refusing the King was a very bold thing for Vashti to do.This made the King very mad causing him to punish her in public,he placed a decree that all wives would give honor to their husbands.the King divorced Vashti which not only lost her husband but also her wealth,but still Vashti was not ashamed for what she had done she stood up for her modesty and self respect.
Vashti went from being a queen to becoming a beggar,she went from honor to dishonor-but she preserved her dignity.Once the King sobered up he started missing Vashti and was sorry for the choices he had made!
Lessons we can learn from Vashti's story:
~Never drink,it may make you make a desicion you'll regret
~Stand up for what you know is right
~Choice's that you choose today will effect your tomorrow

Women of the Bible Wednesday
Huldah-2 Kings 22:12-20;2 Chronicles 34:22-28
Definition-"Weasel"
Huldah was the wife of Shallum,She was a prophetess,and she was teacher.Huldah spoke forthrigthly and decisively to the people telling men that evil was to come upon them because they had forsaken God,they were wrapped up in the worship of Baal,a false God.When reading Huldah's story you will notice she says "Thus sayeth the Lord" alot meaning she was in tune with the Lord.Others fell to the idolatry but Huldah stood firm in God.Huldah must have known the word of God because she used and told others about it,it was hidden in her heart.Hilkiah and the men of God trusted her.
Huldah knew the word of God and renewed in her peoples mind,it convicted them and they tore down and cleaned out there houses removing the idols.Huldah was faithful and stood her ground when all others where falling into sin eventually turning their eyes back to God!What a remarkable woman!
Lessons we can learn from Huldah:
~Stay in tune with God
~Hide God's word in your heart

Women of the Bible Wednesday
Deborah - Judges chapters 2-5
Definition-"Bee"
Deborah was a Judge to the Israelites,She was the wife of Lapidoth,and she was prophetess.She walked with God and made herself available to her People.People flocked to her to hear her declare God's counsel,In order to declare God's counsel she had to maintain a very close walk with God,Praying and meditating in His word.She would listen to the heartaches and problems of her people daily.God told her precise instructions for deliverance.She told to Barak and gave him the instructions that God had given her for the battle.God told Deborah that he would deliver her and her people and she believed Him.In the battle Barak and Deborah worked together,though Deborah was the weaker vessel she had the stronger faith in God.Deborah put herself below Barak even though he wasn't the best leader,she still humbled herself.She encouraged Barak to follow God's plan.
Though their army was very out numbered God kept his promise and they overcame in battle.Deborah was very thankful to God for there deliverance,so she wrote a song Praising the Lord for what he did(Judges 5).Deborah portrayed a meek and humble spirit through all the events that took place by not giving credit to herself but giving all the praise to God.She wanted all the kings and princes that there is One Mightier than them.Deborah is listed in the "Hall of Fame' " located in Hebrews 11.
Lessons we can learn from Deborah:
~Nothing is to Hard for God
~Stay in tune with God through your walk and talk
~Lift up and encourage the Male authority in your life
~Praise God for everything
~Be willing to listens to other people problems and encourage them
~Tell others of the Mightier One
~Be Meek and Humble
