[2018] F E B R U A R Y

I'm a little bit late in getting this post out, but life has been good, crazy good and so much has been happening. Plans have been changed and my story is being rewritten in some ways and God has been so tremendously good! Here's a glimpse back at February, which began in Texas.





ACCOMPLISHED>> I got my photography business website up and running. This was a huge goal and I am super happy to have it done! It took a lot of work and there's still some things that could be tweaked, but I'm happy with it so far. Go check it out! Erin Rae Photography


TRIED>> I tried several recipes off Pinterest and found a few that I definitely want to keep and make again. There's actually one that I've already made again this month...I love when I find good ones!


READ>> I didn't finish any book this month. I'm in the middle of two right now, but I haven't been taking the time to read lately! I need to finish them both!


LOVED>> My brother came home from college for the weekend on one of the weekends that I was home alone. On top of that we were able to go to the Moto-Rama. A huge motocross event that we used to attend annually growing up. We hadn't been there in a couple years but the two stroke smells and the motocross racing did not leave us disappointed one bit. We had a wonderful time together!


GONE>> Magnolia Market round two! This time I was able to go with my mom! It was fun (as would be expected). I also went home! My parents and I left for Texas in January and were there until February (my parents actually stayed into March!). I flew home on the 13^th to do some things back here and then leave on the 24^th for a conference in Wisconsin at Baptist College of Ministry. Wow what a conference!


LEARNED>> So much about bold grace and prayer during the conference mentioned above. It was one of those weeks that you walk away and you're just overflowing. I could talk for hours about this conference. I'll elaborate more on this nest month since it ran into March.


PLANNED>> Several photo shoots for this spring and summer. I am always overjoyed at the opportunity to help someone capture their story.


THRIFTED>> Capital Gaines, Uninvited, The Broken Way, and Present Over Perfect. Also a pair of (new) vintage shoes.


CREATED>> A photography website as I mentioned above as well as a business instagram @erinrae_photography


PHOTOGRAPHED>> I was able to do a lifestyle maternity photo shoot of my sister, which I'm hoping to get put up here on the blog before the month of March is out.


LOOKING AHEAD>> March
(yes, I realize half the month is about over)


+ do some picture editing and some more work on my site
+ possibly post on my blog about something other then a month recap or a photo shoot (!!)
+ start scheduling spring photo shoots
+ try some new things with my violin students
