during our short stay on the island we managed to see a number of lighthouses, eleven if i'm not mistaken. 

they all had similar resemblance...white that has chipped off through the years, accented by bright reds.  

this is one of my favorite pictures from the trip...so postcard-ish! 

some sat on the edges of cliffs, some on the high sand dunes, and others far back in the bay.
