Birthday gifts....

Last week was my  birthday,so my family planned a surprise party for me after church.I ended up finding out about it,but I didn't tell anyone so they were all like "Surprise!" and I was like "I knew!" so really the surprise was on them.One of the families from our church came.They sort of forgot about it,so they didn't bring any card or gift,which was fine by me I was just glad they were there!Well last night at church 2 of their kids,who are 3 and 6,came up to me with all these presents,so I was just going to open them when I got home,but they stood there for awhile until I realized they were waiting for me to open my presents.Here's what they gave me:

Papers,drawings,and unique creations.I was talking to their mom about it and I love what she said:"They gave you what they had!"It's so true,and it really made my day!:)

Deep Waters

1.There fishing nets were empty
when they first saw the Lord
All night they had been fishing
in the waters by the shore
The Lord said "Go to deep waters,
cast your nets once more."
And because they obeyed
they would never be the same.

2.They cast their nets and almost
before they could begin
there nets were overflowing
and they had to pull them in
And though this was there greatest catch
their fishing days would end
For they abandoned all
when they heard the Master's call

I went down to the creek yesterday to play violin and cool off!I picked some wildflowers while I was down there too!I was just playing by ear so I only had to take my violin and my camera!:)I couldn't help taking pictures!

What a friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to Carry
Everything to God in prayer!
Oh, what peace we often forfeit,
Oh, what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer.

Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged:
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful,
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our ev'ry weakness:
Take it to the Lord in prayer.

Are we weak and heavy laden,
Cumbered with a load of care?
Jesus only is our refuge:
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?

In His arms He'll take and shield thee,
Thou wilt find a solace there.
