All Hail the Power of Jesus Name

This past week was missions conference at my church.It was great,but this is one of the neat things i never knew about.Bro. Farris told us this story.

The Story of Edward Perronet Scott
He was a missionary to India,one day he heard of a wild mountain tribe that had never heard of Jesus Christ.E.P. Scott decided to go and preach the Gospel to them,people told him not to go,they told him that they would kill him;but still he went taking only his Bible and violin.When they saw him they drew their spears and pointed them at him with the intent to kill him.He got out his violin and started to play and sing All Hail the Power of Jesus Name.While he was playing he closed his eyes,expecting to be killed right then and there,but as he reached the 3rd verse he opened his eyes and miraculously the men had put down there spears,when he looked at them he noticed tears running from out of their eyes,down their faces.Needless to say they accepted him to their tribe wear he spent 2 years,teaching them about the love of Christ!

I am so glad that He does truly live,not Jesus alive from the grave,but alive in my heart too! Let's not just celebrate his resurrection at Easter,let's celebrate it the whole year!I hope you all had a wonderful Resurrection Sunday!
